Course Outcome: By the end of the course, participants will be able to: · draw up a budget covering projects and allocation of core costs, · monitor the budget against actual performance and compile management accounts to report to board/funders etc., · use the management accounts as a tool for forward planning, · put together a cashflow forecast and recognise how this differs from the budget, · understand the way in which accounting systems work, · recognise what sort of accounting system they are employing and how to adapt this to the needs of their particular organisation. |
