Course Outcome: By the end of the workshop, participants will –
- Be able to design appropriate and effective workshops and inset training,
- Have discussed responsibilities and methods for running safe and successful workshops with young people, and managing challenging behaviour,
- Have considered effective ways of establishing a legacy of practise with teachers, schools or in other environments,
- Understand the importance of establishing and contracting clear relationships with partners (e.g. school, youth club) prior to project commencement,
- Have thought through the contracting and management of workshop teams and leaders,
- Be able to create assessment and evaluation systems appropriate to organisation or own practice,
- Have gained an insight into developing a company philosophy and approach. |
