Stakeholder Pension Scheme
Stakeholder Pensions give this industry the first real opportunity to offer all practitioners access to transparent, low-cost, flexible pension planning. As a matter of good management practice, we at ITC consider this issue to be vitally important.
Our aim was to save members the time and cost of seeking the relevant advice in selecting an appropriate scheme.
After due consideration Tom Farrell, who is now a Consultant with Merlin Financial Consultants Limited, was appointed to recommend a suitable scheme. Tom has a detailed knowledge of our industry, which was vital in negotiating with prospective providers.
His brief was to create a bespoke scheme that would cope with the vagaries of this profession, accepting contributions for employed and self employed alike and allowing complete flexibility of movement.
The recommended scheme is with Clerical Medical.
Why is it a good thing?
Members can stop, restart and vary their contributions, at any time and at no extra cost. There is a large range of investment funds to choose from, including an ethical fund and members can switch between them without penalty. This scheme operates within the Government proscribed charging cap. There are no hidden charges.
Tom has designed a series of online documents to help you with the scheme, as well as direct links to relelvant documentation on the Clerical Medical website. In addition, you can contact Tom for generic advice by phone or email. The cost of this generic advice is included in the contract.
Don't just take our word for it!
The following member would be happy to talk to you about their experience of the scheme and the levels of service etc.
