This is what you can expect from ITC in 2010/11:
- Problem solving: Use of our advice service increased by 6% last year. Members can access our professional, practical advice by phone 5 days a week and through our online resources.
- Special focus on touring: We are planning a series of members’ events around the country to explore the particular challenges of touring. We will bring venues and touring companies together, work on realistic solutions and raise your profile with policy makers.
- Professional development: Over 700 arts professionals benefited from our successful training last year. We are building on this with more activities including: one-to-one coaching, action learning sets, personality profiling, team effectiveness sessions and in-house consultancy.
- Practical services: We will continue to help you with CRB checks, the new ISA registration, company formation and other day to day management challenges.
- Governance: With plans to launch a National Gain programme and expand the ITC Board Bank, we are committed to helping members diversify and develop their boards.
- Peer-learning: Over 100 members have joined our specialist forums for Artistic Directors, General Managers, Producers, Tour Bookers, Programmers, Marketing Managers, Finance Managers and Chairs. These opportunities are open to all members and we are keen to expand them further.
- Advocacy: We are joining forces and building partnerships across the cultural sector and beyond to ensure both a strong united voice for the arts and increased recognition of the independent performing arts sector.
- Well-being toolkit: Members are already using this new method to measure and communicate the impact of their work, available free in hard copy or as a download from the ITC website.
- Web 2.0 opportunities: You can now follow ITC on Twitter, find and talk to peers on one of our social networks, and access advice and help sheets online.
We very much look forward to another year working with you.
