Reflections of a Chair
No, we have not discovered an incredible talking phenomenon... Our Chair, Jeremy Smeeth reflects on his time as Chair of ITC.

How can you solve a problem like a bad board?
Help your board get in shape.  A robust board can mean the difference between an organisation thriving...or merely surviving.  ITC's Kevin Durjun talks good, bad, and ugly governace with Board expert Tesse Akpeki, and discovers ways in which you can make your board of govenors brilliant for your organisation.

Full of silences…and tension. ITC trainer Lois Graessle gives some advice about how to make the most of your board meetings...

A Royal Seal of Approval

The Royal Wedding means more than just an extra bank holiday. It is a celebration of love, of pageantry, and now, of two ITC members Oily Cart and Dance United.

Rather than request a sandwich toaster or kettle, the royal couple have set up a charitable gift fund www.royalweddingcharityfund.org, to which members of the public can donate to help celebrate their troth. Oily Cart and Dance United are amongst just 20 chosen charities.

ITC Membership and communications co ordinator Kevin spoke to Oily Cart’s Roger Lang for his response.

Use it Or Lose It

Use or lose this year’s training budget
It’s almost the end of the financial year. If you are in the lucky position of having some money left in this year’s training budget, you could protect this by investing in ITC training credits. These credits can be used towards any ITC training course, In-House training course or Action Learning set. They will remain valid for a full five years from date of purchase.
Vouchers can be used for any size of budget, from £100 up to £20,000 - or more. We can issue the invoice immediately to ensure you can apply it to this year's budget.
If this is of interest, please get in touch with me, Kemi, or our new administrator Sasha Alsop.
