Course Aim:

To equip participants with the skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver engaging and persuasive talks to large audiences

Learning Outcome:

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

· establish your outcome (why you have agreed to give a talk?)

· structure a persuasive and informative presentation

· make your talk interesting, using stories, humour and quirky insights

· deliver and make the best of your voice and body

· appear confident and know how to be confident!

· make effective use of question and answer sessions

· set up effectively– room layouts, microphones and audio visuals

· deliver a stunningly great presentation!

Target audience

Anyone who delivers talks to large audiences. This event is especially relevant to senior managers who have to make presentations at conferences, press launches, and other high profile events.

Approach

The course is highly interactive. Each participant will have an opportunity to deliver a short extract from a presentation and receive feedback

Facilitator

Larry Reynolds is managing partner of 21st Century Leader. He delivers training in public speaking, presentation skills and influencing skills to a wide range of organisations in the arts, the public and the private sector. In the past year he has delivered presentations to audiences ranging in size from 20 to 2000.

Venue and Duration

The course is being held in the ITC training room at The Leathermarket in Central London, from 10am to 5pm. Coffee/tea will be available from 9.45am
