Book Now: Negotiations & Contracts Workshop

The Albany:

This course provides a clear understanding of the basics of contract law and practices in the performing arts, interwoven with fundamental negotiation techniques to achieve the best possible deals.

Combining practical and theoretical elements, this session draws on real-life scenarios to give an understanding of the challenges faced when working with internal and external suppliers. Using the latest employment law to ensure those working in the sector are delivering best practices.

This interactive session will examine the communication and personal skills needed to negotiate effective contractual relationships. It will offer an opportunity to put theories and techniques into practice playing to your strengths and building confidence.

By the end of the session, you will:

  • Understand the principles of contract law and practice
  • Understand contract terms and what happens when things don’t go to plan
  • Be able to make successful, legally binding contractual agreements
  • Know how to implement effective methods of negotiation
  • Be able to create sustainable business relationships through negotiating win-win solutions

Having never experienced negotiations, it was very interesting to experience and learn negotiation skills. It also helped a lot with understanding contracts
