BIG BRUM is a registered charity (no. 514071), founded in 1982, and creates outstanding new work for children & young people – through exciting and inspirational Theatre-in-Education (TiE) programmes and community projects. Previous years we’ve worked with over 80 schools and 5,000 children and young people in a variety of educational spaces. Our high-quality TiE supports young people to make meaning of their lives and the world around them. The work has a strong theoretical basis: focusing artistically on the power of theatre/dramatic action to create resonances and challenge new ways of thinking; and educationally grounded in active learning/problem solving.
