New Shoes Theatre

New Shoes Theatre is based in the South East of England. We give a voice to women’s writing and their legacy of work. We create a multicultural and inclusive platform with international links. We use productions and workshops to develop theatre skills and to involve and inspire young people. We raise awareness about social and environmental issues. We reach out and include marginalised groups.
Our latest production was Jeannie by Aimée Stuart – the first professional London production for nearly 80 years at the Finborough Theatre. What the press said:
4* Evening Standard “This festive season jewel..” Fiona Mountford.
5* “Jeannie is a little gem of a production, that will leave you with an uplifted spirit. It’s the perfect treat for a night out in these days leading up to Christmas.!” Live London Post
Since 2008 our ongoing project has been Hurried Steps by Dacia Mariani which raises awareness about violence against women and girls.
