Sarah-Jane Watkinson

I’m an independent theatre producer based in Birmingham with my own production company Outer Circle Arts. I work with a range of companies and artists based in the UK, Spain and Italy developing and touring contemporary, devised work including  Sleepwalk Collective  Paul O’Donnell Natalie Bellingham Altered Skin and Little Soldier.

Hailing originally from Ilkeston in Derbyshire, I studied Theatre Design at Birmingham Polytechnic, now Birmingham City University. I worked for several years as a freelance designer and workshop leader mainly in community and education settings, before gradually shifting into work as a producer and arts manager.

I’m also a board member of ITC
