Stan’s Cafe have been devising and touring original theatre since 1991. Their engaging and inteligent productions and installations tackle big timeless themes while paying particular attention anonymous figures who rarely find themselves centre stage. The company’s obsession with the relationship between form and content has led Stan’s Cafe to consistently twist theatre out of shape and in so doing led to radical, playful productions that have toured the world.

In their home city of Birmingham Stan’s Cafe works in long term collaboration with schools in areas of high economic deprivation to help them achieve their ambitions for their students through arts related project.
