Théâtre Sans Frontières (TSF) was founded in 1991 by Artistic Directors John Cobb and Sarah Kemp who trained in Paris with Philippe Gaulier and Monika Pagneux. TSF tours multilingual physical/visual theatre productions to theatres, schools and community venues across the UK. TSF was an Arts Council England RFO and then an NPO from 2002-2015. The company offers participatory drama workshops, supporting touring shows, as well as stand-alone projects. We also run a drama group for older adults who recently made an online film – An Uncertain World. TSF specialises in collaborating with international artists, on productions including: award-winning world tour of Lipsynch (2007-12) with renowned Canadian director Robert Lepage, Like Water for Chocolate (2008 – Nicaragua, Mexico, Spain), Islands (2010 Spain, Germany, Cyprus), Canary Gold (2013 Spain, France), Chernobyl@30 (2016) with Arabesky Theatre, Ukraine, aided by British Council.
