Bristol Improv Theatre

South West

The Bristol Improv Theatre was founded in 2012 by a group of artists, educators and theatre-makers. Our mission is to be an institution of spontaneous, collaborative, and creative theatre, a resource for ambitious artists and audiences, and a home for all those whom improvised work touches. In 2017, we relaunched our temporary venue in Clifton as a full-time theatre space. Our newly refurbished, 100-seat, multi-space venue is the first permanently established theatre for improvised performance in the UK.
