[Foreign Affairs]

London

[Foreign Affairs] is an international theatre company based in East London. It was formed in 2010 by Camila França and Trine Garrett.

The company was conceived with a simple idea: To cultivate a creative environment in which people from all walks of life can come together to explore, work with and develop new, exciting and unusual ideas to showcase to the world.

Why the square brackets? Why not!? (and we wouldn’t want to be confused with a governmental organisation.)

We are a text-based, site-responsive, physical theatre company. In other words, we bring theatre to new audiences and unconventional locations. Pop-up theatre at it’s best!

Since our maiden voyage at The Lord Napier, RIP, [Foreign Affairs], has continued bringing theatre to new audiences across London. Venues include: Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club, ]performance s p a c e[, Nyborg’s Kitchen, our very own Pop-up Crime Scene and West End Pop-up Theatre.
