Operating Theatre

Operating Theatre has now been going for 20 years producing live theatre, film and video, workshops and other events.  We work in medical schools, in schools and colleges,  for all and every organisation interested in the important business of health and wellbeing. We have produced and presented work on a wide variety of subjects including medical error, learning disability, anorexia,  teenage pregnancy, young mental health,  patient-clinician communication, epilepsy and exercise. A t recent work Deep Mind  is a futuristic piece looking at what might lay ahead as regards medicine, in particular who it might be  be for and who might be left out. Our 22/23 project uses a film of ours called Squirrels as the centrepiece of workshops designed to encourage for young people to talk about their mental health concerns
