People's Palace Projects
London
PPP is an arts charity based in the Drama Department of Queen Mary University of London. Our projects address a wide range of social justice and human rights issues, through academic research, participatory arts projects, performances, educational initiatives and debates.
We bring artists, activists, academics and others together, asking: How do people transform their worlds through creativity and the arts? What difference can art make for those who live in situations of risk, violence and crisis? Who are the artists on the peripheries of our societies and how are they working to bring about change?
PPP's offices are in the East End of London and we have worked with a wide range of local communities across England and Wales as well as internationally. For the past two decades, we have maintained a special focus on strengthening cultural links between the UK and Brazil.
