Sarah-Jane Watkinson

I’m an independent theatre producer based in Birmingham with my own production company Outer Circle Arts. I work with a range of companies and artists based in the UK, Spain and Italy developing and touring contemporary, devised work including Natalie Bellingham Altered Skin and Sleepwalk Collective .

Hailing originally from Ilkeston in Derbyshire, I studied Theatre Design at Birmingham Polytechnic, now Birmingham City University. I worked for several years as a freelance designer and workshop leader mainly in community and education settings, before gradually shifting into work as a producer and arts manager.

I’m also a board member of ITC
