ThickSkin creates innovative movement-theatre, producing award-winning productions, commissioning new writing and touring worldwide.

We aim to unearth new talent and engage established artists in the creation of new work. We nurture and enable them to take risks and test new ways of working. Our productions provide critical exposure and a springboard for artists ready to take a leap. In doing so, we support the sector by finding, commissioning and showcasing diverse talent.

We hope to reach and inspire audiences through our distinctive physicality and cinematic style. The company is based in Manchester and Glasgow and makes work across the UK.
