Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager is a varied role, working alongside multiple departments within the organisation. They are responsible for developing and implementing LAT’s marketing and communication strategies to maximise ticket sales, develop audiences, raise LAT’s profile and, improve the public’s brand awareness of the charity. They will liaise across the organisation to ensure that all publicity opportunities are maximised and that a consistent brand and voice is achieved.

This role is an ideal opportunity for a candidate who wants to combine strong project management skills with an enthusiasm for and commitment to a career in marketing. The successful candidate will have a passion for theatre and be ready to work in a fast-paced and adaptive environment. The role would be of interest to people looking to grow their experience of how a theatre is marketed, specifically from a content creation and communications perspective and to those looking to progress a career in marketing, PR or wider arts administration.

Develop and manage a marketing strategy for the organisation
Develop, implement and manage LAT’s press campaigns, working with our PR agency
Lead on the ongoing development of a Social Media campaign strategy
Ensuring that our brand guidelines are constantly adhered to
Review and proofread all e-marketing communications
Plan and lead on the marketing strategy for individual shows and season launches
Proactively support LAT’s Enterprise strand of work to diversify revenue streams
Harness LAT’s stories and share our charitable messages through external communications
Regularly explore the website’s user journey ensuring that all areas of the website are accessible
Support the creation of digital content
Line management of the Marketing and Communications Administrator
Work with the Box Office & Data Manager on the appropriate use of audience data

Job Requirements
Demonstrable experience in the creation and delivery of marketing campaigns and activities in the arts/cultural sector (minimum 3 years)
Excellent knowledge of digital platforms, technologies and trends.
A strong understanding and experience in online marketing and sales, as well as digital monitoring and analysis (e,g. Google Analytics).
Excellent organisational and project management skills (ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise accordingly).
Experience leading in the creation of digital content including graphics, film, photography and articles.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
The ability to think imaginatively to generate new ideas and solve problems on small budgets.
A great eye for detail and exemplary proofreading skills.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and ability to work independently.
Have an understanding or previous experience of using website content management services and Spektrix (or other box office system)
