This two hour online session will explain the legal issues and the practicalities of setting up and running a Limited Company and the benefits and disadvantages of Charitable Status.
What is this about?
A chance to learn about the benefits, the occasional drawbacks and the practicalities of setting up a Limited Company, and to consider the question of when in an organisation’s development you should think about Company Formation and/or Charitable Status.
Who is this for?
This session is aimed at organisations that are considering registering a Company or applying for Charitable Status. It is also a useful introduction to the basics for anyone who has moved into an organisation that is a registered company, when they have not run one before or need a refresher.
This session will be an online presentation with questions taken throughout.
Jackie Elliman is ITC’s Legal & Industrial Relations Manager. Jackie studied Drama at Manchester University and Law at the College of Law and has worked for Equity, UK Theatre/SOLT and as a freelance consultant for a wide range of performing arts companies.
