This course will explain the legal issues and the practicalities of setting up and running a Limited Company and the benefits and disadvantages of Charitable Status.
By the end of the seminar, participants will be able to:
- Decide whether their organisation should be a Limited Company, a Community Interest Company or a Charitable Incorporated Organisation.
- Assess whether and when Charitable Status is appropriate for their organisation.
- Understand the roles and responsibilities of Company Directors in the running of a Company.

It is aimed primarily at those who are considering whether to register a Company or apply for Charitable Status.
This half-day course is an informal seminar with plenty of opportunity for questions, discussion and learning from fellow-participants’ experiences.
