Course Overview: 

This course explores and explains all the stages of the recruitment process offering an understanding of the law, the practicalities, and some creative approaches. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, ITC is aware that recruitment feels more challenging with many established colleagues leaving the sector and fewer new ones joining.

Ran online, this course offers a mix of the trainer’s presentation and group discussion. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and share your own experiences.

Suitable For: 

This course is aimed at anyone who manages or coordinates recruitment processes, both for employees and freelancers. The learning from the session can be applied to a range of situations and sizes of organisations from small project-to-project companies to large venues.

Trainer:

Charlotte Jones is the Chief Executive of ITC. She trained as a lawyer and has many years experience of in negotiating contracts and representing ITC and its members to funders, supporters, politicians, the press and media, development agencies, and the wider creative and cultural sector. Charlotte advises and trains managers and companies on all areas of people management including recruitment, appraisals, disputes and ending contracts.
